Shri Rajan Harivallabhdas

Shri Rajan Harivallabhdas (65 years) is a graduate f rom Gujarat university (lndia) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Masters D egree of Business Administration from USA’ He was a Managing Director and Director in various companies as part of the family owning Textile, Engineering and chemical companies known as shri Ambica Group from 1973 to 1988. In this capacity he dealt with U S, Swiss and German companies and acquired experience of management, finance and marketing from 1988 to 1996 he promoted and managed the family’s private chemical manufacturing companies. Later he promoted and managed as Chairman and Managing Director a public listed chemical manufacturing company H K. Finechem Ltd. from 1996 to 2010. The company is one of the few manufacturers of specialty chemicals from vegetable oil based raw materials using for the first time in India large molecular distillation equipment imported from Ulc GmbH of Germany along with fractionation distillation column designed by Sulzer of switzerland. H. K. Finechem healthcare products were exported and sold to US, Europe and Japanese companies. In 2010 he sold his majority equity holding in HK Finechem Ltd’ Currently he is engaged in management as trustee of various charitable trusts connected with welfare activities such as education of visually impaired girls at Andh Kanya Prakash Gruh, education of underprivileged children through Vidya Trust, imparting knowledge of nature and conservation through Serenity Library Trust and financial assistance to needy persons through Harivallabhdas Kalidas charitable trust. He is also associated with Ahmedabad Education Society as a council member.
